ADMINISTRATIVE RULE NOTICES
The official versions of administrative rule notices are published in the Montana Administrative Register by the Secretary of State's Office. For ease of use, all administrative rule notices for the Department of Administration and agencies administratively attached to the Department are also available here. Proposal notices published prior to 2019 may be found at the Secretary of State's website using the link above.
Each proposal notice includes the proposed rule changes and reasons for the changes; date and location of public hearing (if scheduled); deadline for written comments; instructions for requesting a reasonable accommodation to participate in the rulemaking process; and instructions for requesting placement on interested persons mailing lists. Notices of final rule actions are posted after the public comment period ends.
Notices are listed in order from the most recent and are provided in PDF format. (For optimal viewing and printing, the free Adobe Acrobat® Reader software is required; the latest version can be downloaded from Adobe.)
For information regarding any general Department rules, contact Lauren Berka at (406) 444-3308 or Lauren.Berka@mt.gov, or the contact person listed in the notice.
