Blockchain & Digital Innovation Task Force
Welcome to the Blockchain & Digital Innovation Task Force
On May 5, 2025, Governor Gianforte signed [Senate Bill 330] establishing the Montana Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force. The group is charged with building expertise and recommending policies to promote, support, and appropriately regulate blockchain, financial technology, and digital innovation in Montana, including incentives for related industries and partnerships with existing financial institutions and regulated service providers. The bipartisan task force will report its findings and recommendations to the Economic Affairs Interim Committee and the Legislative Council by July 1, 2026. All meetings are open to the public, offer a Zoom participation option, and will be recorded and posted on this webpage.
