The Montana Department of Administration (DOA) helps Montana’s government run smoothly behind the scenes so other agencies can focus on serving the public. It provides statewide support like accounting, human resources, building management, information technology, insurance, and purchasing. DOA also oversees major building projects, manages state employee benefits and insurance, and regulates Montana’s state‑chartered banks and other financial institutions.
